Think & Do Camden are a community space for climate and social action and their mission is to grow a community ecosystem that is adaptable and responsive to climate change through creative solutions, working with local schools, businesses, and councils to help Camden become a net-zero borough by 2030.
Our relationship with Think & Do Camden spans a number of years and more recently, we supported their Green Dragons Den Event which brought together 12 local primary schools who took it in turns to pitch their sustainable projects ideas to a panel of dragons. The panel included Riya Majithia from TB+A, Earl Menseh from KwikSweep, Moira Zanatta from Camden Clean Air Initiative, Zak Ajia from CBRE, Will Reuben from Revolut and Emily Walker-Smith from Think & Do.
The students oozed enthusiasm and a clear passion for their projects, which ranged from using sustainable water bottles as an alternative to plastic - resulting in zero waste, to placing recycling bins strategically in every classroom to encourage education on waste management.
Riya Majithia shared, ‘The event was a huge success, and we are thrilled to be working with the local community and able to contribute towards supporting their environmental initiatives!’
We look forward to continuing to work with the local community to help and empower our next generation.
