2021 marked the start of our partnership with Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and our investment into their Rewild Carbon programme, a nature-based climate solution for businesses looking to balance their carbon footprint.
Since then, we have helped to plant and nurture approximately 12,128 native trees in the restoration of the Atlantic Forest, contributing to a total of:
• 327,759 trees planted in Brazil (Data as of 31 August 2024)
• 200.5 hectares of forest under restoration
• 75,333 tonnes of CO2 being absorbed from atmosphere
The impacts of the Rewild Carbon initiative stretch far beyond land and carbon, local communities are thriving and vital forest habitat is being created which provides shelter and food for many threatened species of mammals and birds.
The continuation of our investment into 2025 is another step forward towards our 2030 net zero goal and opportunity to safeguard the future of our planet.
